I have heard the version 42095 is stable and i loaded that today but couldnt notice much difference from other versions. What other versions you think is stable?

Update: 'I am actually using firmware 25790 on XT8 which is more stable than 42095. For AX55 as mesh node, I have to use old firmware 4.384_10261. I have the mesh in AP mode wired to the main router AX86U which is not part of the mesh and has the latest firmware. Other than AX55, all are connected through a 2.5Gbps switch. This setup gives me the security as well as connection stability.

Also, after flashing firmware, you should do a factory reset too. With one of the earlier firmware, it has to be reset afterward to solve the stability issue.

Once I thought it is dead after a firmware update as I cannot wifi connect to it at all. Finally, I wired to it and upload the firmware again.
I believe the SSID underneath was ASUS_E0? Good luck!

Thanks for the tip. I'll try a reset to see if that makes a difference.
