I just bought the 6 pro during Black Friday but it doesn't have the 6 ghz band. Does the 6 ghz band only work with compatible devices? Not sure if any of my devices support that band.

Man, I wish eero would come out with more PoE adapters/brackets like they did for the first eero Pro.

So this is dumb -- when picking a trade-in, it does not give the 20% off immediately. It says once you send it in and it's accepted, THEN they send you a 20% off code plus an Amazon GC for the trade-in value (in my case $40).

So no 20% now, but the $40 GC is available now. It's be nice to be able to apply both.

Conflicted between this new 6+ of 6 pro. Anyone that know better can recommend? Seems like the 6+ is dual band vs triband of pro. Price is significantly different too. I live in a house with plaster walls which seem to negatively affect the signal more than my previous home which had drywall so not sure if triband would make a difference there.

The 6GHz is only on Wifi 6E routers not wifi 6.

It says that but appears to do some kind of account validation and, at least in my case, gave me the $30 gift card value and 20% off immediately and said I needed to send in the trade-in router by May 8 and sent me a shipping label. Maybe it's because I am trading in a Wifi 5 Eero Pro for a 3 pack of 6E pros?

Yes I'm aware of that. What I meant to ask is whether the client devices specifically need to be compatible with the 6 ghz band. In other words, my Samsung Galaxy s21 works on WiFi 6 but is it capable of utilizing the 6ghz band? If not, the 6e spec is of very little value to me.
