Skip this one, go with same basic grill with cast iron top plates to get better grill marks and more heat on meat.

i have one its alright, holding up great. but i would rather just go buy a lightly used weber on offerup.

I went back and forth for awhile. I've always wanted a Weber, but the Spirit series that's more affordable is now made in China and doesn't get the best reviews. I didn't look into the used market much.

Interesting. I've gone back and forth on the cast iron vs stainless steel grates. The previous grill I had, had the cast iron. I was looking for stainless steel grates and a stainless steel firebox on this one and when I saw the price of $240 (after rebates), I jumped on it. I've used it twice and liking it so far, still figuring it out a bit tho. It's a $599 grill on Wayfair right now.

Yeah, to a point. It's like a combo of big box improvement stores and Big Lots, they offer a lot more selection than Lowe's or Home Depot. The quality on some items actually seems better.
