Msrp is 580. BestScalp is trying real hard to keep the Covid gouge train going.
They're holding onto the 6800s/3060s and dumping the xt and ti so it looks better on the surface.
As for someone who's been holding off on paying stupidly ridiculous prices to these pandemic opportunists I can play the waiting game a little longer. They're all sweating the July/August 4000s releases.
now that graphic cards are more available, I no longer feel the urge to buy one.
Every passing day is one day closer to the new cards' launch day. We wait and they will panic. Microcenter is sitting on 50+ 3080Ti at every single store. Amazon is cutting prices by $100 every day.

Techpowerup compared this to a 3070ti in over 50 games and found the 6800 to only be .8% faster overall. Even if you disregard RT, the 3070ti is the better deal since they have gone for 700 dollars recently. Prices will continue to fall closer and closer to MSRP.

You'll literally be sweating too from the heat that the next gen cards put out based on the leaked TDP/TGP numbers!

If history is any indication, the 4xxx cards will have a paper launch around September and a "full" release will happen around Nov, December.
Kress the CFO of Nvidia hinted that the 3xxx series will coexist with Lovelace and that they are still working on supply. This means that we aren't out of the woods just yet.
So everyone saying "wait for 4xxx series" really aren't considering the availability factor. It's possible that more will be in stock by launch but I'm counting on being disappointed yet again when release day hits.

Prices are dropping, but Amazon isn't cutting by $100/day. I've been watching for months.
