I'm not familiar with this brand.
Just kidding. Thumbs up for good price on a tried and true drive.
Also, I know people avoid NewEgg like the plague, but here's a data point:
I've been buying parts from them since Amazon was still selling only books. NewEgg was good initially, then they got bought out, and they sucked.
Now they're good again, at least in my experience (Rebates aside, I wouldn't do that, however tempting).
Recently I've found their Customer Service to be super responsive and customer oriented (Imagine!), plus their return policy is as good, if not better than most.
I had a problem with shipper on a $200 drive I bought, NewEgg sent me a new drive, expedited, no hassle, after a 1 min chat session. No run-around, no making me deal with their shipper. Easy-peasy and I know it was the shipper's fault.
I would not hesitate to buy from NewEgg, meaning from them and not from a third-party using their platform. The interface makes it easy to select "Sold and Shipped by NewEgg" to filter out the garbage.

It's a slightly older gen drive but suppose to be very good.
Yes, it's Newegg but I can't find anywhere else at this price at the moment (maybe price match?). It's actually not a huge discount since Newegg has their normal price at least 10% higher than other places.

This drive gets SUPER HOT for me... I have this and an SK P31 SSD in my system and the Intel easily gets 20C hotter under load even though the SK drive is waaaaaaaay faster.
Just FYI - this series got picked up from Intel by a new NAND company called Solidigm - https://www.solidigm.com/en/produ...eries.html
I happen to know some folks who got hired on there and it looks like it's shaping up to be a class act in the industry.
This drive has dram but it supposedly has a slower kind (ddr3 vs ddr4) and thus keep that in mind, it won't approach the Evo 970 in terms of speed, but it's much better than a dram-less drive.
A review of it lists it as decently power efficient too
