144 bit QLC. SMI controller. Steady but not fastest. Has 256MB DRAM.

For $10 more you can get much better performers with TLC and DRAM. Silicon Power, PNY CS3030, etc.

It was only 2-3 years ago where a 1TB SSD for under $100 would have been unheard of. Now it's sort of like...eh, if you're in the market maybe pick one up. Of course, I'm old enough to remember when I got my first 100GB mechanical drive. Amazing how time progresses technology.

Running low on disk space. Seems like a great storage drive for games.

I have this drive. It has been reliable, though it's only been in use for 14 months. Speed is excellent and exactly what you expect from a PCI3.0 SSD.

I watched a video on the 660p and that's what convinced me to try the 670p:

"Intel QLC Technology offers performance, high capacities, quality and reliability. The innovative floating gate architecture has tight, symmetrical layers and no cell overhead. Additionally, this dynamic architecture changes cell configuration to meet customer demands for storage capacity and performance. The result is high capacity storage at an affordable price to accelerate SSD adoption."

What's a better way to track deals on drives? I'm looking for a couple of decent 2TB SSDs to add to my desktop and an nVME 3.0. But this sounds like not that great quality.

My first computer (with a hard drive) came with a 20MB Seagate 5.25" hard drive. I upgraded to a 3.5" 80MB Maxtor for about $350. (The 120MB and 160MB models were ridiculously priced.) Way better than swapping 5.25" floppy disks on Tandy 1000EX 8088 machine.
