Seems like a good deal for the right use-case. Makes my wallet itch for an RaidZ2 ZFS pool with 8 of these. (Front end storage before off-load to spinning disks)

Question: I recently cloned my HP Omen's HDD onto an SSD. Now all it has for a drive is the SSD.

Should I get one of these nVME drives to put the operating system on? Does it make sense to do that?

Thanks if anyone knows.

Depends on if you have NVME slots in your computer.

You should get a drive with DRAM cache for a system boot drive.
