These big containers suck, way way too much corn meal. The envelopes do not have nearly as much. There is nothing "premium" about this.

I'm impressed by you because you think like a true slickdealer. yes, there is extra cornmeal and salt in these larger containers. that's why I bought the 29 oz Montreal steak containers for $3.45. More for less and no cornmeal and only 22% salt.

For the price this stuff is ok. Tastes like it has a lot of chili powder in it but has no heat so next time I use it Ill ad some red pepper flakes to spice it up a bit.
