I know everyone is going to complain about the corn meal how much better their 100% authentic no filler super premium homemade seasoning they use for their tacos is. Happens every time this stuff is posted, but i like this stuff. Seasons beef fine for an easy weekday meal.

The added corn meal is for thickening once you add water with the spices to simmer

While tacos deserve far better than pre-made seasoning, this stuff is great to keep on hand for adding to eggs and what not. Adds a bit more flavor than just salt and pepper and a little goes a long way.

If you haven't ever tried it, check out Tony Chacheres more spice; good stuff to replace plain salt/pepper!

I make my own taco seasoning mix but Tony's is my go to all purpose seasoning

Yea, if you look at the Most Recent reviews on Amazon, there are a lot of complaints about it tasting like bland flavored corn meal.

I use this stuff straight up. I have to use a lot to impart flavor. The corn meal leaves a bit of grit to the food's texture, too. It's okay. Nothing special.
