I have the 3200 and use beans from https://radcoffeecompan
Awesome local roaster that ships around the US. Best coffee I've had.
Yes. This is closer to the Magenta line of machines.
Quite a few people got the above deal for $450. Which machine is better? Thanks.

I've since switched to a stand-alone frother with a magnetic spinner. Way easier to clean and very consistent results. Sure, its more than one button, but that is offset by the easier clean up. I have a machine from WMF (https://www.wmf.com/de/en/wmf-lono-milk-frother-milk-choc-3200000053.html [wmf.com] ) [wmf.com] which is awesome but hard to find in the US. Similar devices should work equally well and can be found for much less. This one also makes perfect cold foam and handles almond and oat milk almost as well as regular 2%.
Highly recommend searching for a similar dedicated frother.

How do you get it for 450
Different type of machine. The Breville is a semi automatic and requires more work to tamp and stuff while a super automatic is more of a one touch. If you know how to use the Breville and can spend a few extra minutes to make a drink it will probably create a better tasting espresso. But the convenience factor of a superauto can't be beat. If you don't mind semi auto and doing some work you might be better off with a breville Bambino over that one from the BBB deal or a Rancilio Silvia
I hear you. My Saeco superautomatics are coming up on 10 and 9 years now (ones in my office). Still going strong.

Same here. I have an old DeLonghi Magnifica that I just replaced the o-rings in. Been using it every day for over 5 years. Had an old Saeco machine that I found at a thrift store before that that was a workhorse as well. The brew group on this Phillips machine appears to be basically the same as the one in my old Saeco. I guess Phillips believes in the old saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it".
