Was $265 back in Sept 2020 when I got it. Which taking inflation into account, is the same price as today without the total tech. Worth getting now to avoid the long waits for install during the winter.

I believe it is lifetime warranty as long as you have the papers. You can take it to them to get it checked.

You have to buy 1 at time so you get the total tech price if you are a member. I had purchased this multiple times for me , my friends and co workers. and had it installed in different locations too.

My niece has totaltech. I assume she can just purchase this for me. Does she have to go to the store at the time of install.

No. I bought it for my wife and she did not need me there. You would just need to have your niece make the install appointment under your name.

I got this deal the last time it popped last year. Got one for my wife and one for my SIL for xmas gifts. I bought TT first, as I would have saved the 100 bucks on each, thus getting it for 'free'. I was able to schedule install for her and my wife separately as I clicked through the installations options (make/model of car, times etc - as an aside, the harness and wiring was also free, though I had to add it during this process). After that, I was also able to add my SIL name to the receipt so she would be able to go independently and have it installed. She had to change the time due to scheduling conflict, though I had to do that as it was under my account but she was able to have it installed all by herself with her ID.

So short answer, I dont see why not.

If you are thinking of getting more than one, I will say that TT did not offer me any huge deals, but I realized after the fact I could have them come and install a wall mounted TV, for example, all for the price of the items. if you were looking for a PS5/XBox, they had a few TT only drops...I was also looking to get a new dishwasher and oven, which apparently they also will install free, though I dont know how seamless that will be.

Overall was a good purchase personally - and if you are a frequent BB shopper each purchase will have at least a buck or two off for TT depending on how exp the product is.

Edit: You also get that free geeksquad repair stuff and increased return window - again not that amazing but does not hurt if something goes awry

Thank you very much.
My niece, that has TT, bought a dishwasher from Lowes and could not find anyone to install it at a reasonable price. I guess she would have been better off paying a little more for the dishwasher at BB.

Mine stopped working, installed by bestbuy. Is their warranty 12 months? How do I diagnose the problem?
