People can say what they want about the CPU in this but I own this laptop and it's the best piece of tech I've ever owned in my life. Do yourself a favor and get this over some some plastic piece of crap that's going to break apart in your backpack in 6 months.
Pro tip if you get this and your bios is below 1.03 do not upgrade. If you upgrade the BIOS you won't be able to undervolt and save yourself some battery life on your CPU. Other than that this laptop is just Elite all the way around especially for this price. Honestly if our economy wasn't so bad I'd buy it again just so I can have two of them.
edit: I own the 4K OLED version of this laptop so your results May vary. I mostly watch media and content create so that OLED is perfect for me but when gaming I find myself reducing the resolution to 1080p so if you're a heavy gamer this might work out even better because you'll have a faster refresh rate and less ghosting issues.

Yes imagine me actually liking a laptop that I invested in, has a great aluminum body, a premium build, Thunderbolt 3, video out through hdmi and usb-c, 2 nvme drive bays, and amazing performance for the price. What a crazy concept.

But the "I'd buy another" is pretty over the top. Sounds almost shill-like.
I mean I liked my Razer Blade 16 Advanced with 3070 but this is a horrible price. I bought mine for $1350 and sold it for $1250 when I needed something different.
The 2070 is extremely outdated, the 3000 series runs much faster and much cooler. I wouldn't pay over $900 for any laptop with a 2070, even new.

I payed a little over this price last year so youre wront but if I had to choose again I'd choose this over a cheaper made 3060 simply because of the build quality. I'm sure manufacturers have gotten better over the the but this is a unibody aluminum frame with no cutbacks, no half magnesium/half plastic here. Only a MacBook can compete in pure build quality. I grew tired of having chips and dents on my previous laptops after having it in a backpack so yes a premium build was a nice change and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
if you can post a 3070 blade for $1250 - $1350 I'd love to take a look at it..

I'd buy a grip of them if not for the economy…
Stacy them like books on my rich mahogany bookshelf in my office/dojo.

Don't buy old computers in general.
