Walmart has the iPhone SE 3rd Gen (2022) 64GB (Midnight or Starlight) for $5/month for 36 months ($180 total) for upgrade or new lines on Verizon postpaid. Plus usual taxes and activation/upgrade fees. Free shipping.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Verizo...1690788542

128GB available for $252 total, 256GB for $360 total. Different colors (including Product Red) available depending on capacity selected.

To address some common questions in previous threads with this kind of Walmart iPhone deal:

1. You need to be on Verizon postpaid. Upgrade a current eligible line or add a new line to a new or current plan.

2. No bill credits involved. Must initiate a device payment plan. Can pay off balance whenever afterwards and cancel plan or free up line upgrade.

3. From personal experience, I think these Walmart iPhones have US Reseller Flex Policy out of the box; they take on the SIM lock policy of the first major US carrier SIM used to activate the phone. If activated with the included or your existing Verizon SIM, it's locked to Verizon for 60 days, etc. From a similar previous deal, I accidentally activated the phone with an old T-Mobile SIM and carrier locked it to T-Mo. Don't know what happens when you activate using a prepaid or MVNO SIM card though. Regardless, you will still owe Verizon the total amount financed.

Just checking in case anyone knows from experience, I bought this and ended up giving it to a friend who activated it on their AT&T account, is that going to screw anything up or should I just expect to pay the $5/month (or pay off early) like normal?

Verizon doesn't care as long as you fulfill your device payment contract with them, they'll get their $35 upgrade fee regardless.

The only wrinkle is the phone lock status (will it unlock, will it be locked to att forever, etc)

Anyone ever have luck returning one of these outside of the 14 day (?) window? I got two of these for the kiddos for Christmas and one of them said they would prefer to keep their 12 mini. I went to return to Walmart and they said it was no longer returnable and I would need to get with Apple? I wasnt aware there was only a limited return policy otherwise I would have waited.

All providers have computer issues from time to time. A six month old article isn't a harbinger of most customer's experiences with Visible. The Walmart deal is just another name for a three-year contract.
I've had Visible on/off for 3 years and finally had enough of their bottom of the barrel c/s, over charges, no data, etc. I'm surprised Verizon tolerates this mess of theirs but probably due to their own problems.

Quick question on this. If you don't activate on vzw does the activation still apply?

How'd she end up doing that? Did she just pop in a AT & T sim chip into her phone and it worked?

Anyone had issues trying to do it through Walmart.com? I keep getting a "Sorry...
There's some technical trouble.
we're working on the problem now."

or

"Failed to process workflow. Please try again later." every time I try to do it online.
