I got this Dreo Cruiser Pro (Alexa enabled) for $60 on Prime Day and it is amazing. I have a Lasko and a Vornado (Desk Fan) but this Dreo is far superior in build quality.
Dreo Cruiser Pro T1S Smart Tower Fan WiFi Voice Control, Works with Alexa/Google, Floor Standing Bladeless Oscillating Fan with Remote, 6 Speeds, 4 Modes, 12H Timer, for Indoor Bedroom Home Office
I have two 25+ year old Sears Canada fans. Metal gears that I actually have to oil annually. Solid piano-key pushbuttons. Whisper-quiet, unlike my Costco Lasko. Still going strong. Made in Canada.
No current plastic-geared thing made in China will ever go that long, no matter the brand.
You never know now much an ordinary fan is appreciated until you live in Florida
You're not wrong. Lived in Florida for 40 yrs and while I keep my place at 74° every day. I still always have a fan on.
Bought this one for $49 (it's $49 it seems like every other week) and it's on all day every day and it seriously blows some cool air, on low. On high it's nuts and i love it.
it's in my living room and it's pretty quiet. yet to give me any issues in over a year that I've had it.
I have a regular vornado from 15 years ago. Vornado gas gone mainstream and their not the same now.
They really aren't. I've had 3 of the room circulation sizes fail between me and family. Meanwhile the $20 generic tower fan from Costco from 6 years ago is still running great

You must have gotten those newer vornado. I'm talking vornados from 2000's and earlier.
Picked up one in my local target, my old small fan was dying and I'm pleased with this product. Can't compare with other brands but it's quiet and with a good breeze. Will pick another one.

Does your Dreo's motor have bearing noise? I returned 2 from Amazon with that annoyance and kept the replacement from the manufacturer. It's the Pilot WiFi model. If you luck out and don't get one from Amazon with that defect, it's the quietest fan I've ever owned of any kind. When investigating the noise with the other 2 fans I noticed that some vanes on the rotor had metal clips. They must be balancers like the ones you get after a car tire installation.

I live in Florida and I had this fan for $100 from target. After using it for about 2 months it was making loud noise like something was loosened inside.
It probably had wobble blades it has a 5 years warranty or you can open it up and retighten everything yourself
