The new model has USB-C Charging. My Microusb port on my 7p is pretty finicky after a number of years. Paying a bit more to have a USB-C Port instead so it doesn't wear out is worth it.

You issue is related to the channel being used for the headset on the 2.4 ghz band is congested. Your interference issue can be resolved by using a wifi signal scanner and scan which channel on the 2.4 ghz band is not congested and set your router to that whatever channel you manually select.
Wouldn't even know where to start on that
Ahh. Steelseries and their weird naming conventions.
Thanks. I wouldn't have mind if it didn't have the dongle but after some digging (and other's comments) I realize it is older and still uses micro usb..
Something I thought I was upgrading.

So far, so good. Clamp is a bit tight for my big head (wear a size 8 cap), will have to continue to wear/stretch to further access. Battery life is great. Audio is average. Xbox & PC w/ dongle connectivity is fast & simple.
Overall, wouldn't buy for $110 & instead gamble on Amazon Warehouse. Worst case, do a free return.
