Between us we have an iPhone 12 Mini w/ a Rhinoshield SolidSuit case and an iPhone SE (2020) w/ a Spigen Tough Armor. No overheating issues with either. Device gets warm as with all wireless charging solutions. Not sure why some have overheating issues and others don't.
Do these have the annoying strong blue led lights?
These have a very dim blue light.
I've been using one of these for a couple months now with a Pixel 6. They are not a quick charger for sure. Honestly I assume the "smart" in the charger kicks in when I charge because I set it on the charger and go to bed. Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and tap the screen to check what time it is, I see that it says "charging complete at xxxx (my morning wake up alarm time)". The first time I noticed this it occurred to me that this is probably working as designed. I'm asleep, no need for the phone to quick charge and it's better for the battery life to slow charge.
These don't work with cases.. at least not with my spigen
Works fine with my Caseology on my Pixel 7 and my p5 before that. Charges my phone every night on my nightstand. No complaints other than wish it was usb-c. Micro just needs to die already, jeez. ☠️

It is the adaptive charge. I think you can turn off the setting (not sure)
I dont gave any of the problems with noise or heat and the function as expected. They just sit there and charge and not slowly. As mentioned im using pixel 6 and silicone case.

Grammar like this on the Internet wastes way more of my time than slow wireless charging.
"if your going to leave you're phone on it and go to sleep 💤 maybe..."
"if your going too leave you're phone on it and go two sleep 💤 maybe..."
