Excellent mesh network. I can see my iPhone jumps between different node in real time as I move around the house. However. It did crash out of the blue one time. So not 100% reliable.

I haven't tried this Eero 6 but I habe TP Link Deco 60 for the last 8 months and it has not dropped once. The signal is strong and consistent through the house. I can still. Connect from 50 yards away. The only down side is it only has dual bands.

I havent personally seen the antenna design and how it tested in real world settings, but I would assume its like all the others from the group. So this compared to Deco X60 would be shorter range than the Deco X60 so if your going for larger coverage area Deco X60. Now the speeds and this is a tough one cause this Eero 6+ has been all over the place when it comes to professional reviews but if everything is optimized and there is no crazy interference the Eero 6+ has been able to achieve speeds around 900Mbps to a wifi 6 device at close range (under 10ft), which is better than the Deco X60 by about 150-200ish Mbps. On the flip side the reviews also were showing the average speeds for most devices were around the 550Mbps mark for the Eero 6+ while the average speeds for the Deco X60 were around 600Mbps again to wifi 6 devices.

So in short X60 has longer range and a slightly better average speed to each device in most cases, the eero 6+ has a way higher top speed of over 900Mbps while the X60 on a good day would be around 700-750Mbps in best case scenarios.

One final difference is the eero has a built in Zigbee smart hub for home automation if you want cloud based smart home automation which is less than ideal compared to local implementation.

Now as usual these results will vary person to person cause of location and setup.

They are both dual band, but both also support wired backhaul if needed for that little extra performance bump and stability, in most cases wired backhaul is not needed and wireless is enough.

I forget if the X60s come with a full suite or partial with the rest behind a pay wall, but the eero has a lot of features behind a pay wall.

In the trade in section Search for common brands like tp-link or netgear and see what it shows as acceptable. Then see if you can find one of the models for cheap( used , etc)
