    Viofo dashcams have well known problem of resetting itself, including all settings and time to default. I emailed them and all they did was suggested I buy a new one. A simple fix would be to provide a firmware that has gps default to on without displaying any information for privacy purposes. But at this point, I'm starting to feel it's intentional to buy more of their products bc it's a pita to remove the dock from the windshield. I highly don't recommend viofo. I hope there's a class action lawsuit eventually.

    Edit: I was using 128 GB Samsung Pro Endurance when I noticed this problem. Problem continued with Sandisk High Endurance also.

    Click on the company name and you see a high approval rate (97%). However, if you look through the recent reviews, there are many talking about being sent used dashcams with stickers covering up the serial numbers etc. Amazon removed all of these because they said it was their fault but its made me wary of ordering this from them.

    The GPS model is easy to remove as well, just slide it off the GPS module.

    I've had this dash cam for almost 2 years now. Great pic quality. Make sure you buy the compatible SD card that Viofo recommendeds ours you will be having issues.
