I'll wait for the Sony or next deal.
Problem is Best Buy is charging $624.99 for the 5 year plan.
Yeah, I know it's the best but a complete and utter rip off! Don't really care about burn in as I don't have viewing habits conducive to it, my 65" C6 now has 20,000+ hours on it and no burn in. I don't really baby it but I also do not play any games on it or leave it on Cnn for hours at a time..
Is there any extended warranties anyone would recommend that are not a rip off and a decent price? I recall some but forgot which ones and where you can buy them, most require it being purchased from an authorized dealer and usually you have to buy it within 30-60 days of purchase, etc? What about that internet company one? Forgot the name?

I have 2 tvs I paid over 4k for actually still in use. The last one was the 77 oled several years ago. I've had my eye on this 83" to replace the 77. You want the best possible picture this is what it costs.

77 works if you are 10ft or closer roughly. So for big rooms...83 is the only option for oled unless you are saving 20k for that 97" lol.
I am at 12.5ft viewing distance but don't want to give up dolby vision by getting a Samsung 85" so only choice is this at 83 and the a90j
This has been around 3k for 6 months. A90j sitting at 4k.
Hoping black Friday plus recession will bring the a90j down to 3300. That's the tv to buy in this size range...same panel....way better processing
That's just not true for everyone, about 10ft/80". I can see the difference on a 65" at 12.5'.

I really wish there was some deal on a best buy gift card so that may help with the sting on buying the extended.

I bought the Benq TK700 for my basement earlier this year - Kinda hard to go down from 110 to 83 but I am thinking I can have both since my basement is big enough. One for movies the other for gaming. Decisions decisions
I run an epson 3800 on a 120" screen and have a C1 65" for gaming in my basement. Nothing beats the size, even if the OLED has a much better picture. Just something about that ginormous presentation… I sit about 13' from the 120" screen and 4' from the 65"
Is OLED Tvs much better then UHD LEDs ??? never owned other than plasma - Thanks in advance
Yes they are
