I bought the same 3-for-2 deal at Target a couple of years back. Sadly, I do not recommend these.

These Slinkys are smaller and less durable than the ones you may have played with as a kid.

They don't go down stairs easily or at all and they bend or get stretched out much easier than you'd expect for a metal Slinky.

It will probably be a disappointing experience for you and your kids.
