Mechanical doesn't limit your torque either, you can still tighten past the click

Low range wrenches only do lower ranges. Higher ranges are needed for high torque. You cant have a unit that does it all from sensitive aluminum 8Nm snap bolts to 160lbs axle nuts. When you do, they're called mechanics, and they charge you more.
You're comparing chocolate bars to pizza. You're likely in the wrong thread and should not be buying either tool until doing a little more added research.
