edit- not sure how it would work with the integrated screen. I have an older version. you can join the QZ group here on Facebook and the person who built the app is very active there.
Yeah, I figured as long as the basic app displays the cadence and resistance, they can just tape a paper conversion table on the side of the screen in lieu of the app. There's been some deals on TVs with Roku built-in so there's your second screen for the Peloton app

Because they hope it's inconvenient enough for you to not do it therefore, zero effort for them lol
Until I return it to the store for the $100 difference and the shipping cost to my house and from the store completely outweigh the $100. I'd say the majority of people would make the effort for $100 so Walmart "hoped" wrong.

Meh. Price of bike is attractive but the proprietary membership, not so much. I'm In the market for a bike that I can connect to third party apps. I've been keeping my eyes on Schwinn IC4 to hit $600 or so.

If you just want to get on a bike and pedal away, this is probably a good price (Or if you don't mind paying the Echelon price and like their digital offerings). But I've done that at gyms and it's excessively boring to me. Need some sort of goal/competition/group rides to get into a frequent habit, third party trainers just offer more for less.

All my opinion.
Bro, just play your favorite tunes and cycle to the beat. What more do you need?

Bought this bike last year without the screen. VERY nice solid bike. I use the freestyle mode on the app (free) to get stats/miles/watts/cadence and I hung a tv in the gym and use a Roku stick to play peloton workouts. Great way to go without dropping 4-5x the money on a peloton

Saw this deal on another exercise bike. Looks sleek and features seem nice but can't find much info online. Anyone heard of mobifitness? Or have insights on this bike? Slightly more expensive but no subscription to have to worry about.

How are you dealing with peloton cadence conversion

There's a resistance conversion. Peloton has levels from 0-100 and echelon has 0-32 so it's roughly 3:1…not too hard to remember

Ok, this review says it should have magnetic resistance. He even shows it on the box but it's the one from sam's club. Since sams's and walmart are the same company I assume it's the same bike.

This or EX-15 from amazon. Suggestions please. Debating between these 2. I want to use peloton app and not depend on Echelon subscription.
Check out the QZ domyos group on Facebook. They can help guide you if your end goal is to use the peleton App. QZ is an app that integrates the bike with non echelon apps (Peleton/zwift) and can do resistance conversions/auto resistance.
