Your mom bought one of these landfill trash piles. Said it was the best deal ever. Couldn't stop raving about it. Especially because it was part of the HP line.

I am a weekend DIY and doesn't make tons and tons of cuts. Not having to drag out a roll of heavy cords, while having a number of batteries already makes it worth while. I use Ryobi since they were still dark blue and they still work. The new neon green aren't the best of quality but none of them broke for light duty work.....if the cheapest built quality last enough for one like me, why not buy it?

Lol. I have a Makita 36V 10" Dual Bevel miter saw and it out performs my corded DeWalt DWS779 which at one point was near the top of their line.

I also have the Ryobi 18v 7-1/4" slider and have found it to be great for what I purposed it for

No issue with the Ryobi tools, some of them are fine or better than fine, I was referring to their batteries

This thing takes up way too much space for the few times I need it. I never see a deal on the non-slider though. It sucks because I need a stand, and it would be cheaper to get this then the non-slider.

This one is different for some reason. Usually, you could just cancel the "free gift" but on this one, it's tied together.. I can't seem to cancel just the stand.

Wow that will be a lot cuts. You'll need a few 4Ah HP batteries and two chargers to keep that going but this saw should have no issue at all with cedar boards or whatever you'll use. 4x4s should also work just fine

Isn't the whole point of the ryobi ecosystem is you got lots of batteries since they make tools for basically every job? Can use the same batteries for your drill and impact driver and everything else? I just started down this road and with these deals I've already got 4 batteries and getting another 2 HP from my hammer drill kit. Granted those are 2ah.

I am as well but waiting for the ship dates to change. I think that is why it's not working. For all the other deals the ship dates were different dates so let me cancel separately but both are saying they will ship on the same day. Going to watch it and see if it holds true. I guess you could technically just return the stand to the store to but I try to avoid getting it in the first place.

Totally agree- takes a lot of space - much more than expected - returned mine. Purchased non sliding version that is very compact ( factory blemished means new with 3 y warranty from Direct Tools for 65 ). .95 % of the time cutting capacity is sufficient and is very compact and not so heavy. I use corded version if needed very rarely. Go to the store and compare both before you buy as sliding is not so easy to transfer
