Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

For anyone who has Simple Choice and was only provided a voice line, check your account details to see if you can find any verbiage that states the line has data. They were able to add an "Unlimited 4GB Data with Mobile Hotspot" plan to my line for free. Took two tries and a screenshot but they were able to do it.

Does anyone know what 'running' means in the order status? I ordered the add line BYOD physical sim yesterday, and when checking the order status today, it shows 'running'. I never seen any company's order status show this. Thanks

Seeing a lot of people on Reddit and a few on here with nerves of steel that after being told not elegible by several T-mobile Customer Reps went ahead and still added the line online and activated it with esim and got the promo.

Getting tempted to try it myself. There is a 14 days free refund period but they risk is that you could get blocked from any future promotion that requires no line cancelations on prior 90 days.

Someone posted this link earlier in this thread. https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...on-us.html

I went there and then logged into my account. I chatted with a rep and they looked and said I was eligible for a free line (currently have 6 lines on my account). I don't have a spare device so I reserved the free line and it's ready and waiting for whenever I want to activate it. It's not on a contract. When I went through and checked it out it did appear that I was adding another line and would cost me $25/month. The rep assured me I wouldn't be charged though. Also was not charged the $35 start up fee either.

We'll see. I saved the chat transcript should the worse happen.

Thanks for the heads up. I also went to the link and reserved a line which showed I will owe $15/mo (I am on Military Plan). I went and bought a cheap $100 phone from Best buy to use on the line. Before I called in to get the phone added to the Virtual line, I went to my Dashboard and clicked the Virtual line link and saw 'Add a device to your free line'. So it looks like it will indeed be a free line. I asked about it on the chat when adding the phone to the line and the Rep was a little clueless. Hey, I'll give it a couple of months and if it looks like tt will charge me the monthly fee, then I'll just cancel the line. Worth the chance IMO for a free line.

Thanks to you and smashclash!

so do they send you the sim card and you just pop it into a phone to activate? Then the promo shows up on your account?

As soon as I put it in my iPhone it started working.

I made test calls, sent text messages and used data.

I had read that a few customers gave imei info to the reps…my chat rep did not ask for any of that. He simply ordered a sim for me, added the line to my account

Yes you can ignore that and add a line yourself.
Do need to select esim or can I select physical sim?

Where do I get the esim? It asks for device IMEI

I did the same with the rep but I don't see it added to my account yet, is it not added until you pop it in/activate the sim?
