I'd recommend waiting if you can. New Oled monitors were announced by different brands and these older ones will definitely drop by a lot more. I'm actually returning my Neo G9 I got for BF from Amazon and waiting on the new ones they announced last month.

I bought this back when they first released. Gaming looks great but the desktop text clarity does bother me some. I was using a 1440p 165hz HP Omen 27i before and it was much sharper/clear for text compared to this. As others mentioned, it's not bad but it is noticeable and kind of a bummer considering this monitor cost more than 2x as much as my previous one (since I bought my previous one brand new when it released too).

The minor annoyance aside - the thing that does greatly bother me is the coil whine. It ... is ... IRRITATING. Sometimes I can calm it down some by enabling/disabling the monitor's built-in lighting effects. For mine it gets louder when there is less image being lit up by the pixels. Screens that are predominantly black... higher coil whine sound. I pretty much have to wear my headphones to help me ignore it.

Unreal I bought this last month and am ONE day out of Dell's 30-day price guarantee. For anyone else this is really good deal on an excellent OLED gaming monitor, emphasis on gaming monitor as this is NOT a great daily driver for desktop work.

That's what Nvidia charges for the model. this monitor using freesync works just fine with an Nvidia card. And yes, It can be vesa mounted

I don't have the F version but I've been daily driving the original one for like 6 months now and have no issues. None of the fringing from the pixel layout bothers me. Did I notice it? Yes , but to me not horrible at all.

Question Why do people say daily driver or driving for products that are not vehicles? Why don't you just say using? If you don't say daily driving is that supposed to mean you don't use the item everyday? Your response would be appreciated, take care.

This one has insanely large base, and no usb-c port. I will wait for Samsung g8 OLED.
It does included usb-c to DisplayPort cable.

There's nothing about panel generation in that article.

If you have some burn-in, Dell has a 3-year warranty so you can get it replaced. So far, I have my monitor to turn off automatically after 5 minutes of non-usage, auto-hide the taskbar, and have pixel shifting on.
How about your chrome tabs and scrollbars?

I was disappointed by 2023's oled's. The only comparable ones are Samsungs g8 OLED and MSI's. Unless you want a massive 45-49 monitor. Man I wish there was a 38" version but that's not coming anytime soon.

I'm going to try this out. I got cap shopping cash back to give me 20% from dell.
The LG 45" OLED is a disappointment w a res of only 3440x1440.

Just be patient. More details will be revealed closer to launch. I think a dead giveaway could be that the old panel from Alienware was 165hz and the new one is 175hz.
