Well it's not new and it's not sold by Walmart. I would spend the $50 more without hesitation.

This one [walmart.com] seems like a better deal. Appears to be the same watch but 45mm, brand new, sold by Walmart, for $20 cheaper with free shipping.

I tried going to my nearby Target, because they also carry the same watch. Unfortunately, they do not price-match Costco. They only price match Amazon and Bestbuy for the most part. I would have loved to go to Bestbuy, but they don't carry it anymore. And Amazon is currently $330.

It may be a model from over a year ago but still packs the same features as the series-8. Well, minus the crash detection and menstruation heat app. After tax and delivery, the price of the watch came to $334 here in LA.

The green case looks fabulous in person. The watch band can be switched out if it really bothers you.

Personally, I would just get the older models like the S5 or S6 or SE. It’s basically the same watch since Series 4-8 are all tiny incremental changes. Series 5 are ~$120 and Series 4 are ~$100 on Ebay. As for cellular I always carry my phone everywhere so it’s one of those features that you pay for but I’ve never really used

Fantastic deal on the Apple Watch with cellular. Too bad they only have green. I think this is the least desirable color so that's probably why there's such a good discount.

So funny because I ended up getting one at Target when they were on sale a month ago. The green was my first choice, then blue but all they had left in my area was starlight. I am so happy I got the starlight because it goes with so many more bands.

Go back and show them this: https://target.scene7.com/is/cont...122be2eef9 I’ve had this happen before, after calling the manager over and showing them the Target website where it says they match Costco, they ended up matching.

It's not the ideal color for me either. The band is removable though. That leaves the main part there fully customizable. Coming from a medical background, Samsung and Apple watches are the top and most accurate watches for A-FIB monitoring and measuring SPO2. It's so stupid that the SE does not come with those features. I guess that's one of the many ways they get us! Although for $299 with cellular, and even though I don't care about the cellular feature, it is actually a good deal.

How does the cellular service work? Does it need to be turned on and put on a cellphone plan? Does it have wifi?

You don't have to activate it but it can still call 911 for emergencies without the cell service. Hope that helps!
