Depends on too many factors to answer properly. Depth and weight of snow, temperature, etc. This is only a 4ah battery, so not huge.

I'd expect that would make snow cleanup for most folks easier. I'm in Colorado Springs and we occasionally get dumped on, I'd imagine I'll need to dig out my old but still useful Troybilt gas power 24" snowblower for larger/wet snow. I'll use this 40v one for smaller snow so I don't end up smelling like 2 stroke before going to work in the mornings after a storm.

Everyone's needs and conditions are different, but again, this would be great for most folks.

EDIT: As a note, when I ordered just a few minutes ago, the price was $149!
You could if you buy their 80v snow blower, this is 40v and those 80v batteries likely will not fit

I have a packed limestone / gravel driveway, and am concerned about shredding a plastic … impeller? I'd be interested in a cheaper unit with a metal impeller, especially if it's somehow belt driven; that is, if a rock gets stuck in it, I don't want it to strip the gears and destroy the drivetrain instantly. Any recommendations there?

don't buy this junk if you live in Michigan, this make for light snow area, this junk machine will chokes even at 4", and totally useless on lightly wet snow. pure junk, don't buy.

How is it ?

Anyone who has this , please comment.

1. How long does the battery last ?
I live in Buffalo - Niagara falls area and I returned one to walmart because of its inefficiency to clean heavy 2-3 feet snow. Not suitable for heavy snow area for sure.

I bought this during this deal and used it a couple times. I can see where the guy is struggling. You have to give it a slight tilt when you are starting or else it will dig towards the ground making it very hard to push. One of the commenters said he installed small luggage wheels in the front to help with the clearance which I think I will try.

It does a pretty decent job for powder snow like previously mentioned.

But, my biggest complaint is the battery's inability to function in low temps. There are a few times it stopped and refused to continue because of the temps.
