Get the tool that costs the most new from either HD or DTO (And one that you'll use). Don't waste the bonus tool on a cheezy extra battery or radio or something. There are near constant deals on kits that will get you even more batteries--you should never buy batteries without a kit/bonus deal, and you can pick up the oddball occasional use / lower value things on other deals.

Don't buy used (3rd party). There's no warranty then. Watch HD, DTO for new deals that people buy to resell anyway, or DTO's refurb that generally but not always are going to be better than a beat around resell tool if not new in box.

The Ratchet and 3/8" wrench are the most expensive items, but the inflator is highly rated but valued lower.

I got the impact gun and ratchet. Did the spark plugs/coils on my Toyota sienna that require remove windshield wiper, wiper motor, wiper tray, cowl, intake manifold. This 2 tools can cut the 4 hrs job into less than 2.

There's nothing wrong with having two or three, or even more brands.

I started with a DeWalt drill that I still have. I also have Ridgid for a better drill and an impact driver. I bought a small Black and Decker cordless drill because the other two couldn't chuck some truly tiny drill bits. I bought Ryobi for over a dozen miscellaneous tools including their excellent dedicated cordless flooring saw, and got an awesome Makita cordless circular saw. In addition I have a 54v Echo string trimmer and a Snow Joe cordless leaf blower.

Generally, I buy the expensive stuff of any brand if it's worth the extra for frequent use, and Ryobi for occasional or specialized use because they have so much useful stuff.

Several Ryobi things I wouldn't pay extra for but love are the cordless glue gun, caulk gun, stapler, and cordless buffers and polishers.

That's amazing. I paid a tech a lot of money to do this. But lots of things to move. Intake manifold, occ valve, and a bunch of other things I don't know what to call

I purchased this at the $150 price yesterday with the free 3/8 ratchet. When I saw that this was back on sale again today I went to repurchase at a cheaper price but saw that the ratchet was sold out. I ended up buying it with the light and I think I will return the light from this one for $50 and the wrench from the other one yesterday at $90. that will give me back $140 of the $150 that I spent yesterday so it will be $110 instead of $150 for the two items. not as good a deal as this but still a great deal for two awesome tools!

Im on ryobi ecosystem over 20yrs...nicad then nimh now liion. Same battery package thruout which shows they care about reuse. I got a ton of lime green in house. Recently bought milwakee too (proj farm winner) and yes ryobi is good but Milwaukee kills the same tools i replicated from ryobi.

Im not switching. Ryobi has the most tools in their lineup and they work great...again 20yrs on some still without any issue. Im at the point 2 sets of impact and drill and ratchet are nice (inside home and only garage). Oh i also have the 40v ryobi for lawn.. love it.

Variety is the spice...blonde redhead and limegreen
