Finishing our basement and have been in the market. Ive read that if i go with Klipsch to get RP lines. Im not an audiophile but want something good. The basement is pretty large so i was thinking floorstanding would help. Also looking at this RSL setup: https://rslspeakers.com/products/...er-system/ heard great things about the speedwoofer but they only do bookshelf Budget is in that $1k range. Any input would be great.
I need a decent home theater setup. I'm not trying break the bank and I'm no audiophile. Which is better? this normal deal or the equivalent jamo deal?
Edit: just realized this is a little more expensive than the normal klipsch/jamo deals usually posted. Why is that? Normally in the $499 range + or -

Not positive but this one has a sub which i think might be why its more.

I can't imagine the sub would make it $300 more. But I really have no idea.
I went back and looked at my saved deals. The difference between this deal and the $599 deal is it had the 610f for the towers. Are the 620's worth the extra money over the 610?

R610 299 pair, R620 399 each. So this is not a bad deal. COSTCO set is 899 without the sub.
Damn, also looking to update a finished basement but I think the bookshelf speakers might be too heavy/big for wall mounting. Also boo to front firing sub; rather keep my down firing BIC America sub at that point.
If you slow and steady it, can piece together a JBL system for not much more. I've gotten up to 35% off coupons from them, with cash back, on top of their sale prices.
Any chat with them will net you at least 20% off. I used multiple emails.
Setup now is:
580x2 (ran about 320 for both, total)
530s ($200 but woulda been as low as $120 at times, come as set)
550p x2 (120 for 1 and 150 for other)
520c (ebay like new $90)
Then snagged an Onkyo 6050 for $250 which is same as the 6100
I have the Costco version which includes pretty much the same but the main two giant speakers are 625FA which alone used to retail for 900 each. Those are Atmos. I then bought a similar subwoofer from Costco for like 200-250. So the package you are listing here is right around that range minus the natural Costco discount. For 1300 I don't think your linked item is a terrible deal. Keep in line all that you will need a good receiver. Costco has some good ones.
Can any one suggest me a good receiver which goes with it? Very new to the world of home theater
This is a 5 speaker package, so you only need 5 channels.
I would suggest looking for a used receiver that has the features you need.
You can find really good, higher tier receivers for much less.
Some people have good luck at places like Goodwill also.

Also it looks like the Costco set is gone.
And the Costco set was atmos. Are these?
Just 2x checked Costco is not currently offering any home theater speaker sets.
For me this set is good for someone who wants something a little nicer. I personally don't see the value.

Can't imagine this outdoing that
Costco Denon or Onkyo is more than enough to drive this set
