I don't get the hate towards battery powered mowers. This is a great brand of electric mower. My neighbor has one and if I didn't get such a deal on my current greenworks, I'd be all about finding one from ego.
My current 48v greenworks 21in is amazing. I've got a relatively small yard, maybe 1/4 acre of grass. It's perfect for that. It all comes down to your use case, etc. Electric for me has meant basically zero maintence, stores upright, quiet and lightweight, no having to store gas (car is an ev now so I don't need gas anymore and generator is propane) My grass has never looked better and I don't put off mowing like I used to with my gas mower, in large part because I didn't like dealing with the noise and fumes, etc.. Hate on it all you want, but for small and relatively flat yards, electric is often far superior.
