OfferUp. Local deal.
Edit: If it's not urgent , keep looking for such deals in Craigslist, FB marketplace, OfferUp etc. esp for those you can either purchase AppleCare+ or already has one. You can save several 100$ .
So it's not reproducible for anyone else in this thread.

I don't think how this is helpful at all.

Yes, it's a good deal. But if one is considering the base model 14" then the air is generally a better choice. The 14" is 30% heavier than the air and feels like a tank compared to the air.

The air is more than powerful enough for most workloads. If one has a workload that requires more than the air, then they would also likely need more than this base model 14".

So for the people that don't have a specific need for the MBP features, I think they would be happier with the air.

I have both, and I would choose the air over the MBP any day for general and even most professional use.
Respectfully, I disagree.

1. The 14 has dramatically better brightness and is 120hz. It just feels better to use.
2. The 14 has a vastly different port array if you ever touch an SD card/HDMI.
3. The speaker system in the 14 makes it not even a fair comparison.
4. The M2 Air does not support a standard dual monitor dock unless you are using awful usb display adapters. The 14 supports dual external displays.
5: Finally, the 14 inch, under load, gets much better battery life as it is designed for high wattage use.

Also have both, the tank is the better machine and is more future proof. The 14 is the ultimate small movie laptop.

Wish they would bring back 24 month 0 interest financing w/bb store card, on large purchases like this again.
You probably saw it, but they do have 12 month / 0 interest with BB card.

you can get a fast external 1TB SSD for less than $100, consider whether you really need the extra 500GB insider the computer or you can live with an external drive to save $400
example T7 1TB for $80

Is 500gb extra storage worth $550 to you? If yes, it's worth it. If not, it's not worth it. (ps. It's not worth it, get an external ssd)

I bought at $1750 a year ago.. still love it alot compared to the air, but I wish it was this cheap a year ago.
You got a year of use for $250. That's less than a dollar a day

Bought this recently refurb from Apple and love it so far. Put it side by side with a new M2 pro 14 and honestly didn't notice any difference.
