Decent deal, not super slick.

At Costco, you get 20 cans for $54.99. This deal comes out to 83.3 cents a ball at a lower quantity vs 91.6 cents at Costco (which also requires higher quantity).

A couple months ago I got 12 Penn Extra duty cans from Walmart in store and about 50% of them were duds. They did not bounce... terrible to go to a match and discover the balls are unplayable, so I switched to Wilson... so far so good!

Cool. With deals like this and tools like Ball Rescuer, tennis does not have to be an expensive sports.

Can someone confirm if these are the same balls sold at Costco for about $50?

The boxes look a little bit different. Where the box from Costco has a picture of Djokovic (? I don't really watch tennis, so might have it wrong but it's a guy with green shorts) on it. And the pics on the Walmart site has different boxes but it looks like they have two different boxes on it.

But it looks like they're both Penn 1 balls.

If they're the same or similar, I might try to get these Walmart ones and return the ones to Costco.

Thanks.

edit-nevermind, I just reread the original post and it looks like the costco one has 20 cans vs 12 from Walmart as mentioned in the first post comparing the price differences

For tennis balls, the only major differences (aside from brand) is extra duty or regular felt, and normal vs. pressure-less (usually practice balls that don't come sealed in cans).

There's now also balls like the Wilson Triniti which are lower pressure and longer lasting (which I use with a Slinger ball machine)

Isn't this the regular price at Walmart? I have brought this in-store for <30 twice in past 6 months.
