Spending $500 to get $200 bonus and earning 2% cashback on everything is not good enough? Find one to earn more than 2% cashback on everything. Can you?
Come on. Do not add pre-conditions to earn more. We are talking about no pre-conditions to earn 2% cash back on everything purchase and you just can't find the card to earn more. If you like conditions such as annual fee, member to open a bank account etc, that is a different thing. People may not like those conditions.

Avoid this bank and Wells Fargo in general. I opened this card up for the bonus, called CS and was assured I met the $500 spending. Once the promo time period ended I called to inquire why I had no received the bonus and was informed that I was a dollar and change short. 2 months later after being assured they would honor this, they called me to tell me their investigation team cannot honor the promo. Shady practice…..I should have listened to others and followed my gut.
I had a similar experience with a bonus but they ended up honoring it because I had documentation. Even the bank rep was shocked they didn't want to honor it. She got it corrected though.
Chase Ultimate Rewards is offering a $200 bonus when spending $500 and 15 months with no interest on purchases and balance transfers. The $200 is nice but the no interest is great if transferring a balance over from a high interest cc.
How long after you applied did it take for you to get the card? Did they provide instant account information upon approval (i.e., digital account)?
I got approval, credit limit, rate in under 60 seconds. They then e-mail you confirmation. You can register for WF online account/app from there. I can see the last 4 of the card, but cant see anything else until I "confirm the card" which I need to have it in hand. The application said up to 7 business days. So we'll see. Hope that helps.
I have Old bad credit (charge offs etc) from decades ago.
But want to use a credit card to pay off a delinquent utility bill to rebuild my credit.
Would this card be good? Or too hard to get?
Or any suggestions from anyone?
Charge offs from 'decades' ago do not show up on credit reports. The window is 7 years.
depends on how much you spend i guess. with a 200 bonus it will take a lot of spending to make that up with an extra 1% plus the $60 yearly fee to be gold.

it wouldnt be hard to show documentation, just download statement for each month
I have read through everything. Any idea who they run your credit through? My credit is locked on all credit agencies and need to unlock it before applying.

Dec 2022 in IL they pulled Experian
So most likely EXP but it could vary by the state you live in (for Chase it varies by state) -- I would temp unfreeze all 3 for one day if you want to avoid hassle otherwise just do EXP
