Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
According to the "Top Favorable Review" on the site, "My two units (purchased May 2022) both contain EXOS X18 16TB drives (model # ST16000NM000J)." But this deal is for a 14TB model so I don't know how applicable that information is.
"3rd pty seller on Amazon, and BS re: Newegg return policy - it's covered by 30-day no hassle returns..."
Yea sure.. NoEgg fooled me once, fooled me twice.. Fool me no more. "We wont be fooled again.."..
That should be good news for the SD crowd . Me and the others who feel the same way, are leaving all the good deals for the rest, until they fool you and you remember that if the deal is too good to be true, it probably is not a good deal.
I always check in on the NoEgg posts just to see if a reputable seller is Price Matching. If no one is, I doubt that it is a legit deal in the first place.
Check out the BBB rating and ask yourself if you understand why NoEgg has this rating and why they do nothing to correct it ..

Not to defend newegg, but a bad BBB rating means that the company knows that the BBB is a racket and doesn't pay their extortion.
Or.. They simply don't care because they know the tempting of a good price will entice a good segment of the deal seekers to look the other way.
NoEgg after the Gamers Nexus fiasco, spent a lot of effort telling the public that they are not the same company they used to be. If that was the case, Why not Close and start a new company with a fresh slate?.
You say BBB is a extortion racket. Why is it so many have had issues outside of BBB filings or on say this web site? How about Gamers Nexus? They had to do a Video to get the ear of the company. With out the youtube post by a popular channel, would they have ever got there issues resolved? Most of us do not have a youtube channel to get their ear on complaints.
They do business this way because they can get away with it most of the time. Truth of the matter is most folks shrug it off rather than pipe up and insist a reconciliation of a issue, and they know it. That is how little they care.
Just because they have a cute slogan about returns makes no difference to me. Talk is Cheap. Folks who took the time to file a complaint, does not make them extortionists.
If you were looking for a Auto Shop to fix your car or a contractor to wire in your home car charger, and the place you were considering had a BBB "F" rating, Would you still do business with them?
When we see others here post "F" fake-spot ratings most take heed here.
I personally have nothing to gain warning others, other than a hope to save others from the pain and agony a person feels when they feel they got cheated.

Is it possible to use this hard drive for x-box x as external storage?
I watched a LonTv review of the 22TB My Book just the other day. He said that most (I don't know first hand.) consoles have a 8TB size limit and that 22 TB drive is not recommended for that.

Just bought it at NewEgg.
