Anyone else just amazed that TV prices are such that you can buy a 65" for under $400? What a time to be alive!

My dad has both a 65" and 75" Samsung that were these barebone models.
They look absolutely terrible. The color is so washed out. There are only TWO hdmi inputs. The software/processor is so slow. There are ADs all over the UI. The brightness is a joke. It honestly looks like a 720p picture, even from my XboxSeriesX.
The LG low-end models are phenomenally better. Side by side, there is a HUGE difference. I have no problems with Samsung's higher priced models...but these low-ends are officially shit tier from them. It's on par with ONN, TCL, and RCA is terms of quality.
It's good for a spare/kids set...but please don't use this as your main TV. It's embarrassing how bad the picture actually looks.

Ships for me. This TV is good Samsung quality but they really don't make a lower end TV. If you have seen QLED, OLED, or Mini LED, you will likely be disappointed.
It was probably lower price Black Friday of 2022.
BUT wife nixed it. Then price jumped up to about $480.
I've been waiting for the price to drop because my 47" Vizio died and we were down to a 10 yr old 38" Vizio.
Note that Best Buy seems to be selling it for $400.

Correct! I bought mine at WM on BF. Around $460 was the price almost everywhere. I figured it would drop Feb or Mar, after the return period. I think it's about time for new models, and I believe they are a little late this year.
This is probably a close-out price so the deal won't last long. The 65" 2020 Samsung TU7000 only went down to $450 in previous sales. Also the successor, 65" 2023 Samsung CU7000 just came out but cost $530 and adds a 3rd HDMI port.
Was looking for something decent and not completely shitty for my large shed/home gym, so I just pulled the trigger on this one. Seemed too good to pass up for the quality.

How much was it on BF? Tempted but doesn't need another TV. Is this TV good for casual gaming?
These entry level TU7000's deals on all the time... Only 2 HDMI is almost a deal breaker... DVR and game console and that's it... unless you go home theater which you wouldn't do with this TV.... Probably better deals on BF...
I paid 378 for the 55 around Xmas for my boy. It's definitely entry level set but looks sharp and the 65-70 at basically same price, I'd buy another and probably will if I come across it in store at that price to purchase.
