In store YMMV Costco Trinity Pro 66" adjustable height rolling workbench. I've had my eye on this for a while and saw the deal in store and grabbed it. Seems like a good price. Online it's $1,199
The box was basically the size of the workbench without handles or wheels and maybe another inch or so for padding etc. It comes almost fully assembled. Between my wife, myself and my father in law we managed to get it into our Kia Telluride with a fair bit of space to spare.
The Sam's version has a weight capacity of 500lbs. The Costco version has a capacity of 2,200lbs. Seems to be an important statistics when comparing them.
Craftsman...made in US....when? 10 yrs ago? Defunct brand plus inflation....this one sounds about right on price.

That is a very important statistic. I use my Sam's one for a kitchen island and the weight capacity is not a huge deal but it would make a difference in a garage/tool shed setting.
I'm jealous of all of you who can find this in warehouse. My local warehouse would NEVER stock anything like this. It's got the most pitiful tool section. A while ago I wanted to get the $19.99 DeWalt Socket set as a backup/car set, but the entire state of Maryland didn't carry them.
Bought this yesterday. It was display model and only one the had. I was hoping they would give more off since it was the display but said they could not as they were expecting more to come in. It is in good shape and did not see any blemishes. It fit in the back of mini van with seats out. It is HEAVY.

I love the look of stainless, but had to sell my tool chest as dents appear so much more pronounced on the stainless finish.
With painted boxes it's a lot less obvious
Yes I know it's a tool chest and "ain't meant to be purty", but it was too much for me
Seen this in store. Was very unimpressed with construction. It did not necessarily feel flimsy but the way drawers slid didn't feel right, there seemed to be a lot of side to side sway as you pull drawer out. One of the worst boxes I've seen in costco over the years.
As someone mentioned, us generals are actually quite good.
One of the best I've seen in a while I've seen recently were Viper brand in lowes but they seem to be gone in stores.
Seen some international brand boxes in home depot that seems well made.
It doesn't matter what this box is rated for lb weight, the construction felt wrong and wobbly when opening drawers even when it's empty and doesn't inspire confidence or feel of quality
The Home Depot Frontier 62 is a better option. This is a proper heavy duty 19 gauge steel. Solid construction that also comes with a pegboard. I'm very pleased with the purchase. Link here
I agree the drawers feel flimsy but when loaded the feel changes. The best thing about this is the raised top, you can put your giant Wilton vice on it won't feel like it's tipping over

Would they price match with a copy of the receipt showing the $699 purchase price?
