It still is, except when the "employees" post up here. They don't care if it's a deal or not, they just need that affiliate link dump. It's the reason why I started to use an affiliate blocker here, because it went from user generated quality content where I had no problem paying slickdeals for hosting via links, to just a money grab. It's kind of sad.

This has been this price for years, including 7 of the last 9 months, 1 of the other months it was $18.99.

Am I the only person noticing slick dealz staff just inserting amazon links without reason? Why would this have a ton of upvotes? Are those real users upvoting crap like this?

You're right, this is a load of horseshit packaged as a "deal" (like much of the frontpage of Slickdeals these days, thanks Walgreens!). It says it's normally $39.99 but camelcamelcamel says in the past 8 years it's never cost more than $30.

I use the Trend net 8 port. Status lights are on the front panel. Cables are on the rear panel away from view, but still very easy to get to.

I concur with everyone else here. Not a deal. I've bought several at this price.

Having said that, it's a solid switch. I've got two in my house and one at work, and none have ever given me any problems.
