Highly recommend an extended warranty & due diligence. As an OLED enthusiast (own 4), s95b is the most prone to burn-in, buggy UI & poor build quality. Any of these issues, return or utilize warranty.

While QD OLED's the best tech on the market, does come with its faults.
Yeah, I've loved it as a bedroom TV for me to use an hour or 2 a day and can wow in some games and HDR content, but I'm buying LG for my next living room TV that I use 90% of the time. I fixed the slow UI by disabling Samsung TV Plus, but the picture settings still aren't quite right, whereas my 65C1 is consistently a good image. I think if anybody is picky/easily frustrated, the S95B is a bad idea, and the C2 with worse tech is a better overall TV.

Not sure what you're on about since Samsung generally makes excellent products.
HA HA

you know what samsung displays i have owned that havn't broke this past decade, and my family has owned over the years....

all of their cheap stuff... bought on clearance for like 120 dollars for a 43 inch tv

now their top of the line "at the time stuff" that cost thousands or in this case thousand or more... yea lines appear, tv breaks down and won't turn on... (this was a 3000 dollar tv at the time...)

yea their gaming monitor... i had to settle my warranty thru small claims... its good that i live in the county seat and within walking distance of the courthouse.....

i pretty much believe they use all the same components regardless of model... so cheaper and capacitors/resistors on the higher end sets that use more power and overclocking certain panels to make "advertised" refresh rates... will say they do make reliable cheap sets, i am skeptical on any of their premium products....

Have the 65 and it's a beautiful tv. Have it in a living room. Watch sports mostly. No burn in. Had it since launch and no issues except for the terribly annoying UI

I have bought 2 of these S95B units directly from Samsung. Unfortunately, both of the units failed within the first 3 months. Each of them has green screens with vertical lines. They were not moved and were used less than 2 hrs a day.

After all the headaches with Samsung customer service, I would say it's best to skip this TV although you're more than welcome to take your chances at this price point.

Personally I'm waiting for the S95C to drop to $1500ish.

The S95B hit this price point around the 2022 holidays so that is not too far out.

Good luck either way

It's pretty well known that this thing has really bad quality control problems. Just look at how often it goes on sale, and always for a few hundred dollars less than the LG C2 or Sony A80K, while being newer and having a higher picture quality rating. Samsung is trash.
