Edit: Cancelled my order. This requires a 2 hand operation therefore I cannot use this while driving unlike the Zojirushi. Seems like a good deal still though.

I've never had a hydro flask keep things warmer or cooler than a zojirushi.
I have both
But the Zs are much smaller than most HFs
I just want hot or cold for a few hours or maybe a day
The Z can go pretty far
The HFs are great because they carry more but still stay on the light side
Anything above 20oz in HF territory imo

Agreed. I wish Zojirushi went a little bigger than 20 oz. If I put coffee in it that's fine, but iced tea or water in the summer won't cut it. They do have a stainless steel container with cup that is much bigger and keeps things hot or cold the whole day. I usually go with that over my hydro flask although the hydro flasks are more stylish.

I just bought 5 more HFs because they've been cheaper than ever
I got 3 20z for under $12 each - and they came with silicone boots
I fill-up the HFs and let them sit while the chlorine burns off (overnight basically)
So I rotate 5 bottles around over a few days.
I had a 10 yr old 40oz that had rust develop on the bottom years ago.
I stopped using it and forgot about it for five years
Then I read about the warranty being like Ospreys.
I filled out an online form, took 3 pictures and boom they are sending me a new 40oz.
I know some brands keep things colder/hotter but after 8 hours I've emptied the bottles
My Ozarks can do as well or better while cheaper but they take more twists to open with standard caps.
A HF can seal with 2 twists but the last twist should be firm and then it wont leak.
The nice thing about HFs is if you get a few wides with different style lids they are all interchangeable.
A standard flex cap, straw cap, twist cap or chug cap can all be switched around.
A Z is like a work of art design wise and everybody should have at least one.
A collection of 3-5 hydros also have a nice looks due to the colors and boots etc.
At this price, worth a try. I know Hydro will disappoint me. But will be a tosser for kiddo. ;-)
