I'm sure the Ryobi is good as well, but I'm invested in the Dewalt battery family.
It's just OK for car tire inflation. It takes a really long time to air up a car tire. But for $35 it's been a fantastic purchase. I'm just wondering how much better, if any, this $100 Dewalt is than the $35 Ryobi. If it inflates car tires or inflatables, 3x faster than the Ryobi, I can understand the pricing, but if it's essentially the same thing for triple the price, just buy the Ryobi inflator and a $25 20v Dewalt to Ryobi Battery adapter like I did.

Just FYI, you cannot charge batteries between these ecosystems with an adapter. Ryobi has a chip to detect official batteries/chargers. The battery will shut down if it's the wrong charger, and I assume it works the other way as well. Dewalt batteries don't have a built-in balancer. They rely on their special charger to do that, which is why their chargers have so many pins.
