the only neg about this deal is it's not an easystore so you can't completely turn off the power saving features with the included WD software. (non issue for backups, not great for streaming from or downloading to for impatient people.) Because of my use I'd opt for the 18tb @ 279 from bestbuy (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-e...Id=6427995 matches last nov's sale price, but isn't a smoking deal at 15.556 a TB) but again, for backups or delay tolerant use this is a better deal per TB
