Amazon jacks up the original price. No idea where they get $35. B&H and newegg sell it all day long for $19.99. Read the reviews. Seems like people had some issues with it. You get what you pay for. (I do love it when people buy a cheap item on Amazon, then complain about it's quality)

Gonna give this a try, as the review seem decent and I'm in the market for a cheap extender. Thanks.

I like mine. I have one in the garage that 4 ASIC miners use to connect to an upstairs router. Although I need more throughput because I have about .3% rejected shares, I think the only way to fix that is a wire! it's still working for me though so I'm Gonna order another one as a backup!

I still need to unbox this, bought it 25 days ago for the same price ($18 with a $4 coupon)

Bought it so I can reach the shady part of my backyard which has touch and go wifi with where the router placement. But then it got summer hot 🥵 so I do not want to do that for the next 3 months, so I just missed it.

Excellent points! These extenders are (for the most part) mostly useless! I'd focus on the negative reviews!

Don't complain if it doesn't work for you (as is very common) and you can't return it because it's too late!

I have not opened the box yet, and I am not complaining about the product. I am complaining about the weather for I enjoyed the sunny days outside relaxing but now it is too sunny / hot. (I am whining about the weather)

I have this coupled hooked up to a power line adapter. Set up in bedroom which gets poor connection to the Wi-Fi router in the living room.

DL in the living room is ~250 mbps.

With the powerline Ethernet adapter + this TP link extender, I get 90+ Mbps which isn't so bad considering the alternative is a measly <20 Mbps via directly connecting to the LR Wi-Fi from the bedroom.

To get good connection via the powerline adapter, both the LR and bedroom outlets must be in the same circuit otherwise DL is really bad ~10 mbps.

I personally hate extenders but for the price I understand. A mesh network even a cheap one will always win

Best cheap wifi extender you vould find. I tried a lot of other products but this one is the fastest. Sometimes it gets connections issues but not too often

I used one of these to wire a international tv box which its internal wifi is just wifi G, but it had a ethernet port. Works really well for the old school tech, even though your limited by the 10/100 port to just under 100 megs, which is plenty for streaming since even 4k only uses around 40 megs.

You are pretty much maxing out the extender, since this only has a 10/100 port so your bottle necked by the extender Ethernet port, still better than 20Mbps and it was cheap.

You would need to spend closer to $40-50 for a extender with a 10/100/1000 port, unless some are on sale.

I have this WiFi extender and the TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Router and the OneMesh feature works great and improves the strength of signal for two Ring Floodlights. It also allows me to stream music outdoors on my property which is nice when doing yard work.

Thx op, in41, I have an ancient one in the backroom of my basement where my home theater setup lives, it'll be nice to get an updated signal back there.
