For those not technically inclined, the usb-c is INput only meaning it can charge the power bank faster using a usb-c. However, when you try to charge your phone or whatever it will be standard slow charging because there is no usb-c OUTput. Overall not a good idea because modern phones take forever to charge even with usb-c OUTput, and the fact that this doesn't have it means it will be even slower.

skip this deal. there's better power bank options for similar price.

Here's a similar product that I purchased 3.5 years ago for $26 that includes usb-c input and output. I think this one is discontinued but if this was $26 that long ago, similar powerbanks should be about $15 these days. Look around on Amazon or set a slick deals alert.

This deal isn't terrible but not worth it as I agree with the earlier post you'd be better off buying one with usbc output. I purchased this one as yet another, smaller portable backup to the ones I already have. https://a.co/d/hvTkkgC
So far it's worked well but I have only used it a few times. I paid about $19+tax. Net net, if you need one now and prefer this brand then this price is close to its bottom. If you are willing to branch out to other brands and check reviews, etc. then there are better options IMO.

Most USB C OUTput cables have USB A INput. Your phone doesn't know nor care about the shape of the connector attached between the cable and power bank / wall charger / car / plug on an airplane etc but the actual power flowing THROUGH the cable into the phone (which of course needs a matching connector to interface with your phone). You could hardwire the other side for all the phone cares. Voltage and amperage does not change because of the shape of a connector.

Case in point: Pretty much every modern Android phone ships with a USB A to USB C cable to attach to a USB A power adapter. Yet those magically provide fast charging when paired with a compatible device.

For the non-technically inclined: Electrons do not care about universal serial bus shapes Wink

The question isn't the shape but does it provide enough power to fast change.
