A similar battery from Baseus is $15 (after coupon). It is slightly bulkier but the usb-c is in/out and it can charge faster (18w in, 20w out). I liked my 313 (that I lost) but I decided to give the Baseus a shot based on the specs.

The fact that this power bank does not have the ports or features that you or others want does not make it a crappy or garbage product. If this product is not for you then go buy a different (and more expensive) device. USB-A to USB-C adapters are cheap and widely available, and they would eliminate having to carry an extra cable.

Spoken like a person who doesn't have any experience with ever using it. You say it is "garbage" and nobody wants it but the other deal has +70 thumbs up. Lets not forget that it has a 4.5 out of 5 stars with nearly 90k reviews. Not many garbage products are rated that high. You can't explain why all those thumbs up and all those positive reviews. One man's trash seems to be a treasure for 90k others in the reviews.

Where is this "You need to carry 2 cables" logic coming from? You only carry one cable. You charge it with a usb-c cable through the usb-c input port... Carry that.... When you need to charge your phone or earbuds, you use that same exact cable to charge your phone or earbuds. Just flip the cable the other way. I don't leave home and try to charge my portable pack. I use the pack to charge devices. I have plenty of chargers at home that use USB and devices that need to use USB cables so it isn't rare technology. Not a problem. They also make chargers that have duel ports with usba and usbc ports. Carry one cable. Some smaller devices won't even accept a usb-c to usb-c cables. Some devices don't want fast charging cords or fast charging. Trickle charging helps preserve the battery of earbuds. Using a usbc to usbc cord with fast charging is a good way to damage earbuds or a small portable Bluetooth speaker.
