Where is this "You need to carry 2 cables" logic coming from? You only carry one cable. You charge it with a usb-c cable through the usb-c input port... Carry that.... When you need to charge your phone or earbuds, you use that same exact cable to charge your phone or earbuds. Just flip the cable the other way. I don't leave home and try to charge my portable pack. I use the pack to charge devices. I have plenty of chargers at home that use USB and devices that need to use USB cables so it isn't rare technology. Not a problem. They also make chargers that have duel ports with usba and usbc ports. Carry one cable. Some smaller devices won't even accept a usb-c to usb-c cables. Some devices don't want fast charging cords or fast charging. Trickle charging helps preserve the battery of earbuds. Using a usbc to usbc cord with fast charging is a good way to damage earbuds or a small portable Bluetooth speaker.
