Socket is an issue with this thing.. it keeps dropping - vertically... Can't make it to work.

Camera also doesn't detect far items.. if u have zone enabled.

This will be my 2nd.

Not a 4K IP cam obviously, but if you can't run CAT 5/6/7 over the other side, this might do.

Really okay for a quick look, but you cannot just let it display live as it will nag you.

Happy for the money and def' for the install effort = 0

But it also doesn't require a Homebase. Records locally, is viewable via the same app, just can't use the remote storage and facial recognition.

I can second the note about detecting items. It doesn't do a great job as the other eufy cameras...but it is nice that the solar panel does work

No, you can view via 2.4GHz wifi and eufy app.

It's SoC. So you will not be able to expand storage but I think it's 8GB.

What do you mean by socket? Like a physical socket since you write "vertically" or is this an internet protocol comment about sockets?

Means the mounting and alignment ball socket. That piece at the "back" of the camera in the photo.

I don't have one myself, so I have no experience, but it makes sense it can sag since gravity is always working against it.

How do these compare to the Blink XT cameras? Worth upgrading to these? I appreciate they would not have the same capabilities as higher end IP cameras, but the Blink's are pretty bad at night vision and picking up distant movement. If these are meaningfully better, might be worth a look considering the relative ease of the install.

This is the side upgrade to the S210 (S40) it's missing the spot lights on each side of the camera head, but everything else is an improvement. I've had this camera for about 2 months now, water is finally not an issue.

My old S40 is some how still working but it's browning inside with lots of water damage and some LED lights not working.

This is the one to get if you want a solo cam without spotlight feature. I may get another to replace the water damaged one, but it's still working for now.
