The cpu on the A series just can't compete under load. Once you open 5+ apps at once, you start reaching the top end of this phone.
And lastly, if you ever decide to do a samsung trade-in with the A series, they offer shit in compensation. The S series holds it's value. Just some things to consider.
Understand that 'factory unlocked' and 'cell provider unlocked' are not using the same hardware. For instance, if you unlock your A54 on ATT, you can't use Verizon bands. And if you are on a mvno, it's even more hardware neutered.
Factory unlocked, as in this post, is where you want to be. Signified with a U or U1(USA) at the end of the model number.

I gave the board my REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE From this morning and Saturday. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima.../emot-LMAO.gif
Like I a give a crap about what you or other trolls say or believe.
My mother struggles to get the plugs in the charging port, which is another reason why I upgraded her to a S21.
Wireless charging is the way to go if one has shaky hands. (or, if the charging port breaks after one year like it did on my S10....)

U or U1 isn't anywhere to be found in the specs.. just UI .. BIG DIFFERENCE
Thanks. Is this phone better than the s20 ultra with SD slot? Also, anybody know how this phone is with cricket wifi calling? Thumbs up 👍
The note20 ultra is still a more premium phone even though it is three years old. The Sanpdragon 865+ processor is still faster than the A54 Exynos 1380, but you won't get the same battery life or longevity of updates as the A54. If you want the premium features, you could buy a used note20 ultra in good condition, and replace the battery to give it a new lease on life. I have the Note20 ultra currently, and the only feature I don't like is the curved edges on the screen, it makes it harder to use and protect in my opinion.
Here is a side by side comparison of the specs:

And a comparison of the processors: https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-com...n-865-plus
I am not sure about the cricket Wifi calling, it says it is compatible with all carriers though.

Thank you. How does the curved screen make it harder to use? I just activated a s20 ultra bought 7 months ago, renewed by Amazon with 1 year returnable guarantee, I am not liking the battery life even though the battery is like 90% according to battery apps.
For me, the curved screen makes it harder to tap stuff on the edges of the screen like the x on an ad. Also, I haven't been able to make a tempered glass screen protector stick for any length of time, so I use a film one. My battery life isn't good either, three years is a normal time for a smartphone battery to deteriorate. I am thinking about trying the job myself, not sure how much Samsung charges.

I did just today notice a couple tap issues. Do you have any camera focus issues that I read about?I have till Christmas to actually get all my money back, $399. Thanks again
You are welcome! No, I haven't had any camera focus issues. I like the versatility of having a 5x optical telephoto, and the low light imaging is very good on the 108MP main sensor.
the A-Stock A53 5G is $115, only at your local simple mobile dealer. same unlock requirement. Verizon network.
also, they do have port in special $40/mo for unlimited data.
Just FYI
How do you get the A54 phone for $200?
only complaint is Samsung Us version can't be rooted. Otherwise I definitely use this phone as a daily driver.
Moreover, Samsung phone in general have definitely done a great job in terms of optimization, my experience of battery life it's much better than OnePlus across the board , no matter how u would like to compare them, mid vs mid,top tier s series to op 10,11
