We need to start brining back 3D movies on disc! Who can we contact to make it happen?
Gruv isn't good for shipping steelbooks if you want an undamaged case, which is the whole point of the steelbook anyway...
Yeah not many 4k... Not going to settle for just Blu-ray when there is 4k out there

Never seen LOtR. Is it good? I heard hobbit is better and watched that but found it a bit boring.
The original trilogy is soooo much better than the Hobbit! That being said, it's not a constant barrage of action scenes like a Transformers or Marvel movie either lol. But if you get invested in the story, it is a very satisfying journey albeit a nearly 8-12 hour long one depending on which cut you watch. Probably stick with the theatrical (shorter) cuts for a first time watch and if you really enjoy, do the extended versions later on. Absolutely epic! So glad those three movies came out when they did. They took the shortest book (The Hobbit) and stretched it into 3 drawn out kinda boring films w/ a lot of filler... Peter Jackson took the original 3 main Tolkien books and had to leave tons of footage on the cutting room floor to reach something he could have screened in theaters on wide release that covered the gist of the whole epic.

Haha no problemo! I got to see all 3x LOTR films in Middle/High School and wasn't really sure what I was watching at the time haha. But I later re-watched them all in college with some friends and got more into it, then read all the books (eventually haha) and most recently re-watched them all on 4K UHD (Wow, it was incredible in the home theater w/ 110" projection screen and Dolby Atmos!) with my wife (her first time) and she loved them as well. The Hobbit films are okay in their own right I suppose, just don't feel they hold a candle to the original "trilogy". Like, if they had made Fellowship of the Ring/The Two Towers/The Return of the King today each would've been 3x movies long w/ tons of filler to maximize profit ala "The Hobbit". Just my humble nerd opinion. Oh, and definitely stay the hell away from that Amazon TV series if you enjoy these haha.

The Joker is an amazing movie. Spectacular. Very well made. And you don't even have to know anything at all about Batman to truly enjoy and understand every part of it. In many ways, I found it to be more "real" than most Batman movies.

Did you know that Gruv is also right now having a "3 4K discs for $30" sale? Sounds like that would be more your speed. Most of the discs are between $14-21 so each one at $10 is good savings.
