So Bosch has FIVE beam-wiper lines. Icon, Evolution, Clear Advantage, Insight, and Focus.

They really don't tell you much about the difference between them. Evolution and Clear Advantage use some kinda "graphite infused rubber" blade. The Icon (and apparently Focus) use some fancier rubber that is supposed to last longer. I have no idea about the Insight blades.

Some models have an aero spoiler built into the rubber backing of the beam. Others don't.

The sad/funny thing is I've used Clear Advantage, Icon, and Evolution blades and can't really enumerate the difference. I always had good luck with Icons.

OTOH, I'm not happy with the Clear Advantage I put on my Jeep Wrangler last april. Those always chatter when they swipe up. It sucks. They are cheaper though! $8 per blade lol.
You can check what size your wiper blades are here:

Then you'll definitely love these with a rainx treatment on your windows. I apply the rainx spray to all of my windows so all the water beads up and makes vision in the rain much better. I usually do it 2x a year and it lasts. These wipers are amazing as well since they're quiet and wipe away cleanly even after a year of having them.

A tip that may also help is get a larger wiper if you can. You can usually go up 1 size with no problem but I'm currently 2 sizes up on my chevrolet volt. They wipe the entire windshield and it's awesome.

I was at Discount Tire to get a leak fixed ( which is free ) and they offered to replace wipers which were degraded for $15 each. I countered, that's ok I can just buy online for about $5 each. They said, ok, I trust you, we will match that price if you want $15 for all three. Replaced front with Beam Blades and had to replace the wiper in the existing carriage on rear.

Check out Ollie's Bargain Outlet if you have one near you. I get comparable beam blades for under $8 each.

Rain-X washer fluid is known to screw up the washer fluid sensor in some cars.
I've been using the green RainX for years.

Here's what I do. I keep 1-2 old empty bottles and rinse them out. Then, when I get a new bottle, I portion 1/3 into each. Now I have 1/3 full RainX windshield washer fluid bottles. Now I add water to dilute it, then I pour it into the washer fluid reservoir.

No problems yet. No idea if what I do is good or not for the car, it's just what I do. Works fine on an e92 bmw and '13 Prius.

RockAuto.com is my favorite place to buy cheap wiper blades. Be sure to use a 5% discount code!

RockAuto sucks. They have no inventory themselves and drop ship everything from the suppliers and charge separate shipping fees on each item.

Does anyone still make a replacement rubber part only? I used to be able to go into stores and buy just the rubber replacement part of the wiper blade for a buck, or a buck and a half (for 2), and then just slide it in from the side to update the wiper blades. I haven't seen that in stores in about 5 years.....
i did my last replacement with just changing the rubber part. bought them on amazon. cut to length.
search windshield wiper blade refills
