Audible has 2 audio books for 1 credit on select titles.
Ends 9/22
I was able to find a couple good non-fiction titles in their list of sale books this time, and have not had any luck on the last couple sales like this.
I absolutely despise that audibles sale items can not be properly searched. Audible really needs to make these sales searchable for sub-genre and length of audible book. Having to go through dozens / hundreds of books that I would never be interested in to find that one diamond. Unfortunately their recent sales have not produced many diamonds for me. Possible because half way through the list my tenacity wanes or my eyes just start bleeding, you pick.
I get the strategy, "make the sheeple sift through a bunch of junk they don't want and maybe they'll get more." In reality, it usually causes me to just close the browser and walk away.
So I stuck with the arduous task this time and noted the 4 items below that I haven't pulled the trigger on yet but am considering. They are my pick of the litter. The 2 by Hugh Howey are pretty short and not sure they are worthy of a 1/2 credit. Love Koontz he's so darn quirky. and Wanderers Hmm???
Dust By: Hugh Howey
Shift By: Hugh Howey
From the Corner of His Eye By: Dean Koontz
Wanderers By: Chuck Wendig
Happy digging through the hay pile for that special piece of hay.
Thanks OP.
I actually found a few to my liking - mostly history.
With AMEX removing Audible as part of the monthly digital entertainment credit for platinum card holders, I am trying to use up my credits before Oct. 1, when the change takes place. I don't listen enough to warrant the subscription price since most of what I like I can get through Liibby (and Audible credits can only be used with an active subscription).

While I do not see a length of book option, there are several sub-categories that can be searched in the sale section:
All Categories
Fiction
Mysteries & Thrillers
Sci-Fi & Fantasy
Romance
Nonfiction
Self Development
Kids & Teen
Spanish-Language
I feel the same way. Its such a chore and I typically don't have the time to sort through them. I highly recommend the the Hugh Howey silo series if you haven't already listened.

I was referring to sub-genre rather than broad stroke categories. For instance Sci-Fi Fantasy is so broad. I don't have any love for space opera, romantic sci-fi or most fantasy but enjoy Post-Apocalyptic or Dystopian, In the regular priced section under browse, these are all separated providing ease but in the sale portion you have 100's of sub-genre's all lumped together under a few broad categories.
SCI-FI
Shift (The Silo Saga, Book 2)
Dust (The Silo Saga, Book 3)
OTHER FICTION
Never Lie
Homecoming
From the Corner of His Eye
Tom Clancy Oath of Office (Jack Ryan Novel Series, Book 19)
The Women of Chateau Lafayette
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches
The House at Riverton
The Fort
NON-FICTION
The Main Enemy - The Inside Story of the CIA's Final Showdown with the KGB
American Predator - The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century
The Self-Driven Child
Immune
Badass Habits
